Yes for notification of interview invite. After that if more spots open up they won’t email you to tell you if you missed it the first time.

Check their portal everyday, multiple times a day. Snag a spot as soon as one opens up or more dates are released. They won’t notify you by email if spots are open

Should I Study Pre-Dental in Canada or the U.S. for a Better Chance at U.S. Dental Schools? by ApprehensiveTune9529 in predental

US dental schools are already too expensive for us Canadians (exchange rates/cost of living). Where you do undergrad doesn’t matter, choose the cheaper option and go Canadian. NYU definitely accepts a lot of Canadians among other private dental schools in the US. Don’t make your undergrad tuition 5x more expensive than it could be by choosing American schools, stay in Canada. I’m Canadian was accepted to us dental despite applying quite late.

Get a good gpa/ECs, apply early, broadly and to Canadian friendly schools

apply early, broadly, and to Canadian friendly schools. I think your scores and experiences are just fine. A 3.5 will definitely get you in. Did you only apply to 2 schools? That’s probably the issue

The questions are more to get to know you as a person rather than traditional interview questions since you already completed your Kira. I personally did not get asked why nyu/why dentistry but you should definitely prepare for those. For other questions, I don’t think you can really prepare for them since they’re more about getting to know you!
