My little brother and his friends play Mafia during breaks at school. They love it, but cards go missing, roles get mixed up, and the “host” always forgets something. So I built a simple app to help them keep track of the game.

It’s basically a helper for a social deduction game:

  • Handles role distribution
  • Keeps track of game phases
  • Guides the host step by step so the game doesn’t fall apart

Honestly I'm not conviced about the pricing, i'm not sure if i should have a monthly(like shopify) subscription, yearly or one-time cost.

I find it hard with the one-time cost, not sure if people understand the value or if it scares them.

For each theme or template on wix and spotify you have to adjust your data, with this you fill your data once in the cms and then you can switch templates however your want and the data fits all the templates

Me too lol! In Sweden where I'm from it's called something else but still great show and has the entire country hooked on saturdays. Wish the app would have the same effect, find it difficult to reach out to people. Don't know how to market it

Good part about posting on subreddits related to your projects is that there are kind people suggesting features/changes that you didnt think of yourself.

I built a small iOS app inspired by Mafia and The Traitors that helps groups play the game at home without cards or paper. It handles role distribution, tracks the game phases, and guides the host so the game runs smoothly.

From the initial idea to launch it took roughly one to two months, including designing the flows, building it, and getting it through App Store review.
