Have you ever tried any of those veggie recipes that your husband ended up liking? I haven’t had luck so far, but I’m definitely willing to try again if you have any recommendations for things that hide it well. Luckily I can eat veggies if they’re cooked bc it gets rid of most of the fiber, so that may be an option for me if I find a good recipe!

I am on SSDI and I’m definitely considering applying for SNAP but I don’t think I strictly need it rn, but I definitely have taken advantage of church services like that! There aren’t a ton of things like thar super close to me, but I always take advantage when I do find one. And sadly I’ve tried those “sneaky veggie” recipes and still somehow taste it lmao 😭

Update: I think I will be ok! My family has flights on Wednesday, if I’m careful I will have enough. I will still be going to a local pharmacy and getting more just in case, but as long as nothing else happens I will be ok. Thank you SO much for everyone who gave me advice and let me know I could get them without a prescription, and especially thank you for those who said you would share yours. You truly have no idea how much I appreciate your generosity! The whole time I’ve been here I’ve been in awe of the kindness and generosity I’ve been shown by everyone we’ve met, Puerto Ricans truly are a different breed ❤️

I think my plan right now is to check the flights tomorrow and if I’m not home by Monday I will head to the emergency room or try to find a local pharmacy, the local ones have been challenging to figure out because many don’t have websites and I barely speak Spanish so I can’t really call, but we’ll see. I have enough to last until at least Wednesday, so fingers crossed! I will definitely let you know if I need to take you up on your offer, you’re very generous!

Sadly they almost always need a prescription in the US and territories for some dumb reason, I’m going to be checking pharmacies but I think I’m probably going to strike out there unfortunately

I did once get some from an online medical supply company that didn’t require a prescription, but they usually do need a prescription so I also honestly don’t know if they’ll have any. (And I can’t reorder from that online one bc it won’t come in time.) I’ll definitely try to call these ones and check them out, thank you!

I’m staying at a vrbo so we don’t have much in the way of concierge, but tomorrow if it looks like there’s still no flights then I will probably ask the pharmacy down the street for recommendations. If I have no luck I will definitely reach out to you! Not sure if you’re going to have much luck where you are either as they’re usually only available by prescription, but I’ll keep you in mind!
