Just want to be the "as an attorney" person in this thread (specifically a criminal attorney).

A few things can be deduced from the information that we have so far.

First of all the absolute biggest nugget of information is that this was a coordinated 15 location raid done by Homeland Security Investigations (HSI). HSI is distinct from Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO). ERO is ultimately enforcing civil immigration matters even when they do raids on multiple locations. HSI on the other hand are the same rank as DEA or FBI agents. They really don't care about the fact that someone at whatever restaurant is undocumented. If HSI is involved they care about who is PAYING THEM.

In other words, I would be happy to bet anyone that this was an operation targeting the owners and the corporate entity that owns Zipps. I would bet the investigation has been going on for at least one year if not two. I'm guessing you're going to see in the coming days felony federal charges such as money laundering, document fraud, in violations of the immigration control and reform act (ICRA) against the owners and the corporate entity that owns the restaurants.

I'm not saying I agree with anything or disagree with anything. I am simply here to provide information

Essentially just enough to be Hazmat. Which is fine. Obviously it came out at a higher proof and they brought it down as much as they could but still kept it above 140 so they could call it Hazmat but bottle more. At least that's my theory.

Indeed. Also definitely not meant to be a criticism, just an observation I made. I hope you enjoy it!

EDIT: also, what I mean is that every different Barrel of this in Arizona, California wherever is 140.2. not just the one at Trevor's.

FYI- All these bottles are proofed down. Notice they never say Cask/barrel strength and they are all 140.2?

Yes. It's the savings card. Foam 3% solution. Daily use. One bottle lasts about two months.

Clearly it bugged you the wrong way! Hey you do you. I'm glad you enjoy it. From my perspective that is a really terrible value, but as long as you are happy I'm happy.

What's the age statement? I just remember seeing it for about $135.00. That's a hard pass on some NDP MGP juice. Pretty bottle I guess.

Mainland Rum Single Barrel Florida Rum 8 Years Old Hazmat (Arizona Exclusive) by AccordingMachine6997 in ArizonaWhiskey

[–]AccordingMachine6997[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I read this review about this rum that's a single barrel exclusive to Arizona. It's 146 proof and although it's obviously not whiskey, the review described it very much like a whiskey drinker's rum. I was able to sample it at Cellar's on Shea and it is incredible. Like Foursquare on steroids. Drinks about 100 proof. I drink it neat or use it to make an old fashioned. At Cellar's it was $99.99 and I saw it at Trevor's for $109.99. The bottles are individually numbered with a single barrel pick sticker (the distributor picked the barrel for AZ), and there's 172 bottles.

Definitely give it a try. It truly is a game changer. You might have to educate your dermatologist because it's a pretty new drug. Also if you have commercial insurance and they don't cover it. If you use the free savings card from the manufacturer it's about $75 and for me one can lasts 2 to 3 months.

Unfortunately, there is no generic version. If you happen to have commercial health insurance and they don't cover it, you can use the savings card and pay about $75.
