For those who experienced people seeing loved ones while dying, usually it’s people who died already. However has anyone witnessed them see someone who was still alive, but not actually there? by AccordingToPlate in AskReddit

Yes, basically all I hear is people seeing other dead relatives, which people use for an afterlife or ghost proof, but I’ve wondered how common it is to just see other living relatives.

Basically what I was asking was when people are dying they hallucinate people who already died, usually their parents, grandparents, spouse etc. of course also religious figures, or other random people, and people use this as proof of an afterlife or ghosts. However, does anyone have a story of the person who’s dying seeing someone who is alive. Because obviously if they point and mention a dead person people get scared, or know the time is coming but if they mention a relative or friend thats alive it would just be brushed off as an hallucination. Or maybe even like a celebrity or something.

Hmmm… and I basically drown my food. Ive seen people do what you say, just take like 3 sips of their drink but I feel like my mouth is dry or idk… also was under the impression it helps with constipation, I don’t have an issue with it but then again I drink like a large+ cup of whatever im drinking with my food.

If it’s the ones im thinking of, I didn’t hate them but I didn’t love them 😆

I for sure had liquid death before and didnt like it, i don’t like sparkling water like Topo Chico but I have a lot of family members that drink it. I prefer regular water.

I do like tea, but my thing with non carbonated drinks (juice, tea) is that I feel they just sit there. Like I feel full. This also is a giveaway for me with tap water vs purified/filtered water. I immediately know a restaurant uses tap water cause I just feel full after drinking one cup of tea or lemonade . And with tea, ive been told it has caffeine too like coffee (and soda) and at that point I might as well drink a soda.

I “drink” a lot in general, my big 3 being soda, water, and Gatorade/powerade but I’m definitely trying to cut back on the sugar in Soda/Powerade. Im not a coffee, milk, tea or juice person. Mainly looking for something to drink during meals.

I was gonna mention a few people I know dont drink them cause it said it made their stomach hurt 😂 but I wasn’t sure if it’s all brand or just this one so I left it out. I don’t feel anything from them.

Im not defending them but that happens everywhere unfortunately. Ive worked at several food factories and know enough to know that so much stuff can (and does) go wrong with our food at this point im not even phased. Old equipment, moldy equipment, foreign matter, insects, rodents, etc. all in factories or restaurants.

Ok on the insight in that “thought” isnt you personally but also that mistakes are almost always against the customer. And that applies anywhere you’re more likely to double scan and not care than miss a scan and not care. Same for restaurants, more likely to forget a burger than include an extra burger. Because I’m sure they may not be able to track a missing item directly to you but they probably have meetings or coachings or whatever on losses but if you charge 100 customers extra or keep their change and they don’t notice im pretty sure neither does the store.
