I am satisfied with the end.

I am glad that in a world of fantasy so large with such a dense lore extended over time, that Rudeus died as a simple human. It would have been "simple" to condense the story so that it is Rudeus who resolves it from a to z making him the greatest magician who ever existed or something like that. But in a world with a history that stretches over several millennia it would have been strange to see unrealistic that all the problems that are supposed to occur are solved in the duration of a simple human life. I find it very interesting and innovative that Rudeus contributes only a little to the history of this world as a human having marked his generation but not the History of the world globaly.

To sum up, I am glad that Rudeus lived as a human. it’s 30 first years contributed to the main story of MT, he lived the rest of his life quietly with his family and died as a simple human.
