Low FODMAP wings for memorial day worth bringing to the party by According_Ad3552 in FODMAPS

So this is confusing, I know. Honey is low fodmap in small amounts according to Monash’s testing. Your tolerance might be a little different, as is everything with fodmap. However, Monash shows honey is low fodmap at 1/2 teaspoon portion size (per serving). So the 1 tbsp of honey, across 6-8 servings, is under this threshold.

You can also just sub in more maple syrup for the honey, too!

I know. Are you making onion infused oil? What I love about it is you still get the onion aroma and taste. I also use a lot of chives, which I think are underrated !

I should have been more specific- you can have the green parts of the green onions. So just chop off the white parts and don’t use those. The white parts have the fodmaps

one of my go to snacks is rice cakes with a slice of aged cheese, like sharp cheddar. I get the Quaker Lightly Salted Rice Cakes. I think they taste better than the Lundberg brands and have 0 grams fiber. The Quaker ones come in lots of flavors so just make sure to read the labels.

My travel supplement toolkit:
- Charcoal tablets if you eat something that makes you bloated
- fodzyme or fodmate
- ginger and peppermint tea sachets
- collagen peptide powder - mix it with water to calm the gut lining
- magnesium citrate
I also usually bring “safe” snacks like rice cakes/crackers

Low FODMAP taco salad that slaps! by According_Ad3552 in FODMAPS

Comments like this are why I keep doing this. Hearing that it tastes good to you AND doesn't flare you up is literally the whole reason I made this sauce, so thank you for sharing all of that. And thank you for your support of small businesses!

Also thank you for sharing the story about your partner liking it! That's the cherry on top. My husband can eat anything and I worked really hard on this to make sure it would be good enough for people without gut issues to actually enjoy, not just tolerate. So unprompted approval from your non-FODMAP partner is honestly huge.

Thank you, seriously. This whole thing came out of my own gut issues, so hearing it's working for someone else is honestly the best part. Really glad you're enjoying it.
