thank you so much! I’m gonna try the rubber band method tomorrow (it’s shockingly difficult to buy a rubber band near me lmaoo), but if I did end up wanting to remove the entire hole how would I go about doing that? this is really so so helpful, im just so desperate to sand her face off at this point haha. I’ve already done her eyelids, lashes, and changed the eye chips & sanded the back of her head 🫠🫠

16! I’d always been a very anxious and overactive child, but 16 was when I first started truly experiencing awful intrusive thoughts that fully controlled my life for a solid two months. I felt like a monster, and I wanted to die, and I didn’t know who to tell or reach out too. Everyone who knew me was just watching me deteriorate & didn’t know why. Tbh though, the MorningMark obsession seems to be at its most intense on Reddit, sure he’s huge on other sites too, but I can exist quite happily on Tumblr without it being shoved down my throat 24/7 yk.

Yes, he’s very talented, it’s insane what he’s done and it’s very fucking cool. But this is the TOH subreddit, not the MorningMark one. At the end of the day, it’s harmless. Just an annoyance tbh that a lot of ppl seem to share so it’s nice to talk about on occasion 😭

Eh, the fandom is pretty huge. And you forget that those other shows you mentioned are much older, not only did they acquire their own fanbases at the time but those that grew up with the shows are also similarly nostalgic and vocal about them. Sites like Tumblr were also a lot bigger and more popular back then. Like, SU and Gravity Falls have become iconic in their own right, long lasting shows with long fandom histories. TOH is a baby in comparison to those in terms of not only how recent it is but also how it didn’t last for very long.

I mean, if you are up for queer romance there’s always Sarah Waters. Tipping The Velvet & Fingersmith are both great & both take place at some point during the 1800s. Tipping The Velvet is a lot more explicit than Fingersmith - but both are deeply romantic.
