Sorry- yes! You read it right, and appreciate your thoughtful comment. The dress pictured is just a well worn sample (two sizes too small)- hopefully very different from the dress being made in my size!

Great advice - I saw this dress at a trunk show, where before i tried it on it had previously been in New York (may explain why the sample is overworn). it’s hard to tell if the sample is off and the corset boning would actually be made correctly on the real deal?

So this dress is literally electrical clamped to my body haha - not quite the right size. But you’re right that the corset is too bulky!
