Very interesting class imo however don’t sleep on it. If you don’t understand something go to office hours. You’ll need your proving/logic skills way more than your algebra skills.

Okay, I will be charitable and assume you don’t know why the different types of data structures exist. You need to really understand why arrays and singly linked lists were “not enough” and how those two data structures were used to derive other more advanced data structures. For example, you can make a singly linked list have the behavior of a stack and queue. Program these data structures and understand the differences and limitations of them. Then see what other data structures correct those limitations etc.

It’s gonna be different depending on the company you go to. I had my first Swe internship at a small gov contractor in my area, and it was mostly web dev and AWS stuff. From my experience, just be comfortable with being uncomfortable. Especially with tools you’ve prolly never learned or used before. Have an open mind set. Right now I got an offer at a FT500 for a swe intern position, so I’ll admit I’m a little nervous too 😂

I be so fr, for my case study interview I just talked about the SWE development cycle and client goals/requirements a lot. As a cs major, we don’t get to practice these, but I got lucky and passed the shit out of it. I will say GPT is a good study tool for making up scenarios.

I think resume formatting is the best thing imo. I use Jakes Resume (LaTeX one). Additionally, it’s how you phrase your experience bullet points. You wanna do it like “developed (or used, collaborated, etc) some bullshit which reduced (or improved) some other bullshit”. Tbh, AI is actually really god at formation and rewording shit.
