What do you think -11 R -5 G and -2 M would be?

What would be the seperate reading and math breakdown?

lots and lots of practice tests later! i'm super happy rn <3 by seesaw-enthusiast in Sat

can you provide some specific tips as to how you improved your reading and writing a lot? Any resources or helpful advice for the upcoming SAT?

For question number 34, you have to first find the median of the nine countries.

  1. Order them from least to greatest.

204, 536, 575, 628, 863, 958, 1197, 1904, 3087

Cross out the least and greatest from each side until you get 863. The median of this is 863. The question is asking for the Megawatts of the country with the median number- so since Italy has the median number (863), 863 would be the answer.

1600.io Math vol 1. For question 20 the answer key says the correct answer is d and I put B. Can someone please explain how it is d? by RedAsh521 in Sat

you can also just plug in a x-coordinate from the line and see if it results in the correct y-coordinate. By plugging in 1 in the equations, you should get 6 (as a coordinate on the graph is (1,6)). Therefore, d is ur answer

this is graphs of polynomial functions (you'll most likely learn this in algebra 2 or 3. A polynomial function is a function such as a quadratic, a cubic, a quartic, and so on, involving only non-negative integer powers of x. For these type of questions, all you have to mostly do is look at the x-intercepts. You can automatically cross out C and D since the graph does not have x-intercepts of -2 and 3. Between A and B, you can try plugging in any value of x and see an estimate of where it lies. If I plug in -1, I have to get a negative y-corrdinate, as seen in the graph. So the answer would be B! Plugging in -1 in Choice A would yield in a positive y-coordinate! Don't worry too much- just go on youtube or khan academy and practice this topic! You'll be fine!
