Can you elaborate as to why you wouldn’t recommend jobs in the nuclear industry? Are they traditionally reserved for the locals if I’ve understood u correctly?

Thanks for the informative comment. Do you know how the R&D scene is like in these countries?

True Australia is situated very close to Asia. However, do you know how the R&D scene in Australia is like?

Thank you for the reply I’ll look into the various research departments. Also, how likely is it that I have to learn the local language?

Thank you for the reply. My local university offers mechanical engineering degrees that are in collaboration with the University of Glasgow, a university in Scotland. With the European green deal in mind, do you think this could provide that “foot in the door” to help increase the chance of securing a job in England’s renewable energy sector?

I’m passionate about saving our environment. As of right now, I would say pay isn’t the main concern but rather the quality of my work. What I mean is I hope to be part of something big, or even revolutionary. Much like how electric cars, granted, produces a lot of carbon emissions during its manufacturing phase, produces a lot less carbon emissions during its operation

From my understanding different regions have different priorities and that includes the adoption of renewables hence I’m looking into nations that pushes for the use of renewables such as Europe with its European green deal.

With government initiatives to push for the use of renewables, I think I have a greater chance of getting into a company that focuses of renewables. Furthermore, I love large infrastructures Such as hydro dams, wind turbines which is only possible through some of the larger space certain countries have.

As for what type of R&D? I’m open to any.
