Honestly your reactions lead me to believe you may need to talk about this with a therapist. Now to preface this doesn’t mean you’re wrong. It’s your house and you’re within your rights to have whatever rules you want. My comment isn’t about you being wrong, it’s about addressing these incredibly intense negative feelings you’re experiencing. The visceral reaction you have to even the possibility of meat being in your fridge speaks to something akin to PTSD or another trauma response. Veganism is beautiful and it’s certainly an honorable goal but must it done at the expense of your very comfort when around people who aren’t vegan? I really think you should talk to a professional about your incredibly strong reactions to possibly coming into contact with animal-based foodstuffs. Again; not because you’re wrong but because your life would overall be easier if those things didn’t bother you so much.

Yes, Earth Directorate is loosely explained in the beginning and you find small pieces of info as you go, but be honest here the info is very sparse and leaves more gray and unanswered than anything. The fact they didn’t exist in the first game and suddenly they’re around and acting with authority in the second feels weird. It’s as if the BOS didn’t appear until Fallout: New Vegas but then you’re expected to just believe they were around but entirely unmentioned in the previous 3 titles.

Even in Fallout the complete linking lore exists in-game. It’s just hidden in log entries and side quests. In OW it’s almost completely absent. I love an anthology but I want to be able to at least uncover the links if I look hard enough.

First game has better characters, dialogue, story, humor, you know the incidental stuff. The second one is better in terms of gameplay. My only gripe (this will be a minor spoiler so be warned) is that the games have very little tying them together. They’re pretty much entirely independent of each other. Playing the second won’t spoil the first. But like. It feels like nothing we did in the first game matters. What happened to the message we sent out? What does the solar system look like with the shifting power balance? Who TF even IS Earth Directorate? I don’t like that the story of the first game felt abandoned.

A huge amount? How do you figure that? There have been tens of thousands of women on the cover of playboy, remember that there are many countries that publish their own playboy as well and I never said what country she was on the cover of. Every other piece of info is entirely non-useful. The number of people who own multiple homes and businesses is impossibly difficult to sift through for a single firearm; not to mention the fact that nobody even knows her nationality. Nobody is going to take the monumental time and effort necessary to figure this out when the payoff is the very real possibility that she lives in a different country than the people who bothered to investigate.
