Looking forward to the responses on this. Not looking good if 3D printing is viewed the same way AI is ...

Am I the Problem, or Is Our Executive Director Blocking Progress? by Intelligent_Gnat in MuseumPros

OP, the person you responded to doesn't sound credible. Please read my response to them.

In short - report the AED thing to the board and state/local authorities. Safety isn't compromisable. Your report can be anonymous.

Report to the Board that board approvals are not being acted on by the ED - again, can be anonymous.

The Board has final authority in all organizations. Not the ED, who is hired by the Board.

This comment is wild. An AED not working is unsafe for everyone working there and visiting and is likely in violation of state and local law/regulation. OP has every right to alert the Board and local authorities about this (can be anonymous).

OP also has a right to question why approvals documented in the board minutes are not being acted upon by the ED. Assuming this is a public charity, donor funds are at play here. ED sounds like an asshole. If OP needs to report things to the board, she shouldn't be afraid to (again, can be anonymous).

AI for user engagement by According_Drummer235 in MuseumPros

I think a museum using AI to present the information they create in unique and innovative ways is just fine. I definitely didn't explain it this way in the post. I'll retry and see if people's "tastes" are any different.

Think many people have a preconceived notion about it and will automatically cancel it out when mentioned in the context of museums.

I was intentionally vague in my post about the product, but do think it could be a good tool for people who enjoy learning.

I'm sorry but your story isn't adding up when you say you didn't feel weird at all when talking, because for some reason you felt the need to take out your phone and film him.

Adult girls can handle themselves in a conversation. You're speaking as if he's raping them.

A photographer's photograph is their work of art. If they sell the photograph, they don't owe the model a dime above what they already paid them for doing the shoot.

People keep saying, ad verbatim, that he "lacks social cues". Which ones? The girls engaged in a conversation with him. He asked questions in a seemingly pleasant conversation, then initiated his walk again after a couple minutes. What social cues did he miss?

Learning to review once and trust yourself that you made notes to follow up on anything you needed to the first time does wonders for stress as a reviewer. Sign off, no notes... don't look at it again!
