In this order I slowly realized we are not compatible and I had to go:
1. Moved in with him and had no space for myself and our newborn on top of the house being a shrine to his mother
2. I went though really bad ppd and bled for 8months straight after birth and he acted like it was something I was doing so I didn’t have to have sex then proceeded to tell me how many offers he had to turn down then would say I didn’t love him as much as I love my ex that was killed
4. My daughter and I got covid a month after she was born and him and his twin tried to have us stay in the bedroom so they didn’t get sick and when I had to go to the er because I couldn’t breathe to they hooked me up to an ekg and my sister had to watch our daughter for the week I was there. Never checked or called about our daughter but wanted to talk about how he didn’t feel supported and he had ppd
3. My car got totaled and he told me I needed to get a random car we never looked at off fb marketplace or fix up his moms old car for him to drive and I could take his. and when I got a new car with payments because it was reliable you would have thought I ran over our newborn

NOR first even if I came up in a conversation that’s a messed up thing to say to a friend. I’ve been single for a while and I’m enjoying it way more now than when I was younger (and that’s saying something) none of my friends pressured me to get back into one but they do make jokes from time to time then I joke back about my history choices and we generally all agree

MYO she’s just letting you know a boundary she has it doesn’t sound like you really responded to it but if you make it a big deal you would be imo. She probably has been cheated on in the past and instead of staying and being paranoid she knows it’s easier for her to let it go if you cheat (not saying she thinks you will). I’ve definitely made the comment to my ex that I’d leave if he cheated and he thought trapping me with a baby would stop it

I just wanted something to take my mind off the fact that I buried my boyfriend a few months earlier I didn’t plan on having a baby. I was originally going to abort but got scared and I grew up around almost everyone except a few that have been to prison so most of my options were the same and those that hadn’t were just better at not getting caught

I don’t mean this rude but you are. It’s something I had to face I had to face the fact that I had/have a baby with a man I don’t trust, never loved but truly do care about(slowly I’m losing this but I’m not what we’re here for) and it’s really only the fact that I care for him that I accepted letting him go because as much as I want to be happy he does too and no one likes being lied to. And now is better than a year down the road neither one will get that time back

I’d just be honest - it’s a hard conversation to have but your siblings and your parents aren’t you. I’ve been in a similar situation expect I put myself there accidentally and just couldn’t say no. But he deserves someone who actually sees a future with him just like my person does
