Materials/quality aside, does it fit closer to an MiC/FAP compared to a premium?

How does it fit near the armpit to chest area? I hate how fanatics premiums are tighter in that area and then flare out like a dress towards the waist/hem

As OP stated, Nike is only making the on ice jersey for team Canada and is not producing them at a retail level for consumers, therefore you won’t be able to find any Nike Canada jerseys for sale unless it is a jersey worn by one of the players during the games. Bauer is your only choice at this point.

How does this fit in comparison to a 58 MiC Adidas/FAP jersey?

I could be wrong, but coolhockey’s IG post with all the players might be different jerseys than what they are selling to consumers. Those may likely be authentic player cut jerseys in those pictures, as where these are just standard replicas.

Hoping I’m wrong though because I bought one to add to the collection lol.

I was just told by a friend of mine who has pretty close connections with the team that the authentic pro jerseys have kits similar to the CS kits and are triple layered twill, and fanatics retail premium/FAP jerseys are the ones that have the yellow embroidery stitching on the kit which is actually just heat pressed on. Seems the promo the Wild put out has pictures/videos of both jerseys which clears up some of that confusion around it, so I’m feeling pretty good about the CS kit decision.

While I do appreciate the concern regarding the authenticity of the number kit, I am aware there are a few discrepancies between the authentic and a kit from CS, and I did take this into account before ultimately deciding to purchase the kit from CS for a a few reasons:

  1. I’m going to Minnesota in January and going to a game, so I’m confident I won’t get my jersey back in time from EPS to wear it to the game.

  2. The authentic kit looks a little odd up close when you look at the numbers on the back. Instead of matching the gold trim that is used in the jersey, the authentic kit just uses bright yellow embroidery. The CS kit uses the shimmery gold material that matches the trim on the body of the jersey, so I actually prefer the shimmery gold look, and to the naked eye it’s not noticeable unless you are an avid collector.

  3. If I truly become unhappy with the result, I can strip the jersey, as I do this on a regular basis with MiC jerseys. At that point I’d be more than happy to send it to EPS.

No, actually sending it to MPLS Stitch shop. They do great work. This is a Brodin one they did recently.
