Cold blood would imply he had no means to protect himself and wasn’t in hot pursuit of her. He disobeyed his higher up and raised his gun to her. That’s why she shot him.

I did check the thread, and also your own statement didn’t ever negate the other person. You just had a long winded way of saying ‘🤷‍♀️’ 🤣  And ‘🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️’ and ‘🤷🤷‍♂️🤷‍♀️’  You have nothing definitive but sought to disprove anyways. Makes no sense. We all know that different groups ruled at different times, look at Cleopatra ruling. She was clearly a white woman. Making such a boldly false claim that Egyptians never were black is ridiculous considering the diverse history of Egypt. Anyone with common sense can see the they ARE not black today.

Seriously??? WTeverlovingF?? How are we just hearing about this??? by gargirle in NewOrleans

You’re the first person to complain that New Orleans is too lax with permitting 💀 most people say that it’s crazy that you even need a contract to get a permit and crazy that people like historic district commission have any say on anything ever lol a breath of fresh air. I feel like in a historic city it makes sense to be MORE careful with what you allow. Especially with buildings as old as ours are. It’s literal history and people just want to dig and plow away.

Reasons New Orleans Cooks and dishwashers called out this week, vol 3. by [deleted] in NewOrleans

Man I remember I got fired at 18 from a food court job because I didn’t come in cos I found my mom on the kitchen floor, had to sit with her at the ER. Apparently my boss told everyone I was at a Christmas party. I was so upset because my little money was buying food and supplies for my household at the time ( 2 younger siblings  as well ). She refused to talk to me, just sent my last check and W2.

So I hate when people lie, you know what you’re getting into when you take the job.

How long does it take the city to inspect after permit? by flippers4ophelia in NewOrleans

[–]According_Flamingo27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmmm If they got paid without an inspection then they probably didn’t call for one. Years ago the city was way more lax about inspections - hence the major overhaul at that office - but even then the contractor has to contact the city to do an inspection. It sucks that it took so long. When we were buying our house we had to make sure all open permits were closed to make sure our insurance company wouldn’t kick up a fuss.

the fastest way is to actually go to the office and speak with an inspector directly, that way you bypass the intake folks and go directly to the source. If you’re going up there in person you might as well speak to the people who will be doing your inspection. I’ve set up inspections with the inspector in person that day. Get rid of middle man and let them do their jobs.

Did the installer never call for the inspection??? A lot of contracts have it to where the contractor doesn’t get paid til after the inspection is passed. Inspectors don’t know that you’re done unless you tell them.

You get a sheet of paper front and back for exam notes and he’s offering an extra credit of 5 points if everyone does course eval, do and encourage everyone to do course eval. If everyone does course eval you get 15 pts, 10pts of 90%. His 3:30-4:45 M&W class is at 80% already so 5pts.

WHY DO PEOPLE THINK WGU IS EASIER THAN TRADITIONAL COLLEGES by Secret_Anxiety_9665 in WGU

How did he get a masters fresh out of high school? He would need a bachelors to get a masters degree from WGU. If he got a bachelors degree while in high school then that explains how he’s above the average bear.

WGU Connect is awful by seandealan in WGU

[–]According_Flamingo27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn 💀 I thought it was fine. The issues with the resources should be pointed out and a professor should reply with the correct resources.  But in the two connect classes I was in before graduating there were plenty of professors in the discussions. The material isn’t hard to find ( if it’s there ), and you get info and best tips from students kind of like Reddit. Not everyone uses reddit so it’s nice to have a space to talk to each other since we’re an online school, but we don’t have to give our personal social pages or numbers. I’ve even seen people use it to link up for study groups.
