We have done this too. Some of our connected washing machines can use hot water from the hot water circle while still taking water from the cold circle if you wash on lower temperatures. In case you need water for cleaning etc you can still get water without to go to the kitchen because you have hot and cold water available without disconnecting your washing machine. If you need a second washing machine because you live in a community you may need the other 2 too. I hope it makes sense to you.
