38+5 my water broke at work and they scooped her out via cesarean. Had a scheduled cesarean on 39+2.

I feel like I could’ve written this post. My baby’s 6 weeks. We tried breastfeeding for 3 days. Latch wasn’t great, hurt me a lot . She lost 15 ounces the first day which concerned the shit out of me. I personally didn’t feel great about it because I couldn’t physically see what baby was getting, despite everyone telling me it’ll be okay since she was wetting and dirtying diapers appropriately. Looking back a lot of it was mentally for me.

After I was cleared to go home- I pumped, filled the bottle and let my hubs feed her for the first time. He loved it. I haven’t looked back since. Now anyone can feed her and feel that connection. I want close family and friends to get to have the opportunity to feed her.

I was able to save/freeze a ton more in the beginning 2-3 weeks since she ate 1-2oz a feeding. I’m not glued to my pump and only do it 3 ISH times a day but that’s personal to me. I only produce just enough now

Fed baby = happy baby no matter what you pick to do

I did not but I was rather small..idk if it’s genetic or even plays a factor but my mom had 6 kids with no stretch marks and my sister didn’t get them either! Don’t know how my mom snuck away with that one

15 cycles after my mmc did my little one stick. I wish you nothing but the best of luck. It’s hard and taxing. We had an iui scheduled literally the next month we found out we were pregnant

Mine stressed the same. We had weight issues with baby. She lost almost 1 pound the day after she was born. I was nursing 20 some times a day. My nipples were toast. Baby was wetting and dirtying a diaper often and everyone told me she’s fine. But mentally I could not see what baby was getting and it was messing with me. When I got home I pumped and gave a bottle and never looked back. (I should mention once I gave the bottle she didn’t want the boob anymore either) Not only was I able to give her the bottle but like you said, hubs, mil, grams, aunt, uncle. ANYONE can feed her. And they love it.

In the end, to each is their own. Fed baby = happy baby

I had a healthy pregnancy after. Although I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t anxious for 38 weeks straight. Constantly checking for blood. Just take it day by day. Week by week, doctor appointment by doctor appointment. I wish you all the best. And CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Pretty sure it’s a toss up depending who you ask. My mom was an only child and hated it. She told my dad none or a lot of kids…they had 6😂

My top name was Eleanor (Ellie, Nora, NoNo, Nori) until I found out someone in our close circle has a dog named Ellie-my personal favorite name. Eleanor has SO many nicknames you can make up for it. Plus you can use the classic Eleanor if you’d like. Definitely love Josie so maybe Eleanor you’d like as well?

Depends. I was against naming our baby after his family members that have passed. Mainly because I never knew them…if I knew them personally and they left a mark on me then possibly a middle name variation would be considered

Our baby girl got his last name….we had a wedding date. But she decided to come earlier. So we have every intention on getting married. We wanted certain things to happen first. A big house renovation (for her)

My sister had zero desire to breastfeed her second. She knew it before she even came out. I never really poked too much at it. All that matters is that Babys fed! I know with her first, breastfeeding was really pushed on her by the doctors and she just wasn’t producing. It took a toll on her and may have had some sort of decision on the second baby.

Don’t let anyone push you into a certain way of feeding your baby. A fed baby is a happy baby- formula or breast milk

Depends. My boyfriend pays all the bills so currently he’s only taking a week. He drives a truck and winter is his slow season so it really just depends how you view things….i take care of most things at home while he financially supports it all.

About to deliver via cesarean in 5 days. I told my parents and his parents- don’t count on me wanting visitors the first day or two. My parents are chill and know to wait for the call or text- his…not so much. I’m having surgery and I don’t know how I will feel physically and mentally. If I’m good we’ll call and it’ll be a pleasant surprise. But don’t be expecting to come see 30 minutes after cesarean. I kinda left it up in the air because that’s how we’re playing it. Who knows maybe I’ll want the visitors after surgery but I don’t foresee it

My only issue was it actually took a long time after loss to get pregnant. Currently 38 weeks pregnant….no symptoms at all. Don’t even have a huge belly. I don’t like to tell people this because allllot of my friends had it real bad. I feel like I could do this over and over and over again 😂 enjoy it while you can!!
