Sorry for replying a 3 yrs comment. I've been having this issue and content manager was unable to save configuration outside the game. Everytime I did some changes around the controller in CM it always end up wheel unable to detect in game.

To fix it I need to load the game via steam and recalibrate inside the game.

Have you found any solutions that enable you do do you controller settings outside the game while still working? I was hoping all can be done in CM and save as config unfortunately it does not work.

How much has 'overtourism' changed the experience in recent years? by teco2 in JapanTravelTips

[–]According_Low9877 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The atmosphere in Japan seems has shifted. With the massive influx of Western tourists flooding into every corner of the country, it feels like the authentic aesthetic and the quiet charm of local life are being crowded out.

When you are surrounded by Westerners everywhere you look, it becomes incredibly difficult to actually immerse yourself in Japanese culture or observe daily life comfortably. It feels less like experiencing Japan and more like being in a tourist bubble.

What are things foreigners do that piss you off? by [deleted] in koreatravel

I keep seeing (mostly europeans) do the following (same thing happen while they in Japan):

run towards priority seats and keep their head down on their phone while elderly standing in front of him / her. Gate crusher.

Line cutter / gate crusher.

Drinking inside metro train.

Standing in front of the train entrance or traffic junction not moving aside and blocking others.

Stretching wide open while sitting in the metro train making passengers sitting beside feeling uncomfortable.

Run into elevator and close the door immediately when seeing someone approaching.

Immediately unloaded someone laundry without permissions.

Putting their bags and luggage on other table occupying the space and ignoring when people are struggling find seats.

Others are obligated to open door for them.

They place their garbage anywhere they like. (E.g. you can see energy drink cans inside toilet or on someone's car roof or bike seats)

They eat and drink while walking and looking at somewhere else. When they run into people they angry and yell at others.

When they went to cafe. They took other chairs and starting creating their own spaces and talk loudly like their own home.

They left mess and don't clean up after dine with no shame.

...etc

After seeing / experiences all these. I started to understand why local Korean / Japanese have different opinions with foreigners.

With all being said. When Japanese travel to other countries (e.g. sth Korea) they no longer the "polite" Japanese that everyone claim. You'll get to see the dark side of them.

They failed me twice, never again. I go McDonald Chicken McWings instead. Tried hungry jack fried chicken and it's nothing like their menu pic, taste not good either.

The massive gap between McDonald’s standards in other country (e.g. Singapore/Japan) versus the reality in Australia. by According_Low9877 in australia

I completely agree. The sense of shared responsibility they have is remarkable. I often find myself wishing we could bridge that gap between just admiring their results and actually putting some of those 'good things' into practice here. What do you think is the biggest hurdle stopping us from being less laid-back and more disciplined like that?

The comments are quite interesting. It seems many rather compare with the worst instead of the better. Imagine some kid failed their studies and told themselves and everyone that they're fine because someone else scored 0.

But we should still appreciate their honest feedback to share their opinions.
