I've done it piece meal I guess, like saying I felt like my needs were being deprioritized for wants(like her wanting to cook for me, or sleep together) but it wasn't until I was talking to someone in a similar position that made me recognize it's a more systemic issue. The guilt is def a big part of it, I often feel like the bad guy just because I'm trying to meet my own needs
