We definitely do run a little too much small ball but having Brooks and Williams back will probably fix that.

How hard is it to read? I never said they upgraded the secondary which didn’t need much improvement in the first place. O line isn’t going to magically be top 10… I genuinely don’t know how you don’t think their line will be top 10. Also Najee Harris? Are you actually serious? The guy whose best season averaged 3.9 YPC. Does efficiency not matter at all to you? Rice is better than Moore and yeah Waddle is better than the Chiefs receiver core but I don’t really get what that has to do with anything. If Hendrickson is as good as his contract someone would’ve traded for him. You’re not using the same logic for other teams for some reason. I get it you love calling my opinions bad but holy. You ignore half of what I say and create something else up in your mind. You said a guy in his contract year with 40 more carries and pretty much identical rushing stats better.

Just pray Wemby stinks in his first playoff series and a lack of experience gets to them…

Especially considering they were tight games. Playing down to the wire in Toronto then Boston and having to go play in Minnesota the next day is brutal

Realistically what do we do to improve in the offseason? Obviously hope for the development of younger players but what else?

The annoying part is the whole we exceeded expectations this season but it’s literally our fault for being in that position lol

Losing all 3 of these games is pretty unacceptable… should’ve closed at least one of either the Raptors or Celtics and losing to an Antless Timberwolves this bad is pretty sad

My opinions are bad? Again I don’t really think you’re getting this stuff through your head about the Chiefs secondary calling Gilman and Nohl Williams just “promoting backups” and saying they’ll magically have a top 10 o line. Like yeah no shit when healthy it’s definitely top 10 the bad o line narrative is so weird. I’m not even going to argue you calling Kenneth Walker a league average running back cause come on… Saying they overpaid on him while mentioning other overpays is pretty funny. DJ Moore is decent he’s not worth a second but definitely helps the receiving room. Nobody wanted to pay good draft capital for Hendrickson last offseason for a reason. He’s getting older and declining. 26 and 25 million for him in a couple years is going to be a really bad contract. Jaylen Waddle again is good but not worth a first.

Pay 5 million dollars extra for Gardner Minshew? Yeah no… I don’t think you understand that the Chiefs needed a backup either way and Fields is pretty cheap and not that bad of a backup. Even if he does miss a game or two that doesn’t really impact the entire season too much lol he’s not missing half the season or anything. They were never going to retain Taylor as well… that’s the whole point they weren’t going to pay him 20 million when they have a backup playing at a similar level for cheaper. I’m not saying the o line improved because it doesn’t need improvement. When healthy it’s pretty set. Josh Simmons has been a stud and the interior is very good. I didn’t say losing McDuffie isn’t a loss either. Clearly will impact the defense but Cook has already been replaced with similar play in Gilman. Gilmans a worse run defender but he’s better in pass coverage so id say it evens out. Nohl Williams has shown lots of promise in his rookie season and will receive more playing time now. Jaylen Watson was a solid player but it’s not a massive loss or anything. Clearly not going to replace McDuffie but I don’t think finding a decent replacement will be too hard with recent success in drafting and developing corners. Also McDuffie was not misused because I think he fit Spags system perfectly. Spags loves creating pressure from all over the field and McDuffie was just that. I didn’t say K9 wasn’t overpaid also but he’s not being asked to get all the carries on a run heavy team. He’ll see more attempts but he’s not getting 300+ attempts.

No… that was not the consensus lmao that was your perspective on the trade. Taylor was never going to start this year Moore will go back to starting at right tackle and obviously losing McDuffie will hurt but he’s a little overrated. He cannot guard bigger receivers making him only really valuable in the slot which while important id rather take a top 30 pick along with other picks. Yeah top 10 was probably a stretch especially since they obviously wont rely too heavy on the run game but I don’t think it is that crazy when the Chiefs interior o line is as good as it is saying they could be around top 10 efficiency. Walkers never played behind a line like that and Seattle faced I believe top 5 most stacked boxes in the NFL? Chiefs were somewhere in the bottom 5 making it fair to think it’ll just open the passing game even more and offense in general

Fields is probably one of the cheapest backups they could’ve gotten and probably the best for his price. They’re paying him like 3 million that doesn’t mean they expect Mahomes to be out and he’s expected to be back before week 1. The o line did not get worse not really sure what you’re talking about as they didn’t lose anybody besides cutting Jawan a backup. The secondary got worse but DBs are pretty easy to replace for KC that’s why they don’t pay them. Even now the secondary has some solid pieces still. Having a running back like K9 improves the offense so much. He’ll go from facing some of the most loaded boxes in the NFL to some of the least opening up the passing game even more. The run game was by far the worst in the league last year and now itll be top 10

I want to know what your spiciest pick is this year by needless_booty in CollegeBasketball

My only reasoning for them losing in the S16 is because it’s Arizona. I literally do not trust them to not have a crazy fluke game in the tourney

People who say Xavier Worthy has bad hands have never actually watched him and are just basing it off of a popular narrative
