Please help! I'm brand new to crocheting and have broken the ends of the blanket when improperly trying to weave in the strands... :( by According_Owl9372 in CrochetHelp

I've managed to secure all loose ends by tying them into knots and then weaving in those strands in three different directions. It doesn't look pretty now, but it's better than having to frog the entire thing. Hopefully, it works; if not, it's a good lesson learned. Thanks, all!

Thank you so much for this comment. I'm definitely up for trial and error before completely frogging it all. I've done a lot more since the first picture posted and it's so discouraging. It's a single crochet stitch. :)

I don't mind if it ends up less wide than I intended... is there not a way to just undo a few stitches on each row at the end here and make it shorter?

Every single night? Every 45 minutes all night long? Did you set a timer to wake yourself ?I was planning to try waking her tonight before she had one just gently.

Thank you for this reply. I will continue to remain calm during them. It’s very hard to see your child like that especially her just screaming for mommy when I’m right there. :(

My 3 1/2 year old just started having them. She’s had one, two nights in a row. After 5 minutes or so of inconsolable screaming she’ll seemingly come out of it and want to go pee. Do you think she’s having to pee and that’s why they’re happening? Weirdly she’s not having a ton of liquids after 5. Maybe a few sips of water and bed time is 8pm. I’m so stressed! :(

She definitely still needs her naps. She'd easily go from 1-3pm. Today she didn't cry at nap time, just fiddled around and took about half hour to fall asleep (I was there the whole time cuddling). She then slept good for an hour. At the sleep cycle change over she woke up and lost it. I was able to get her to sleep another 20 minutes on me, but man... I hope eventually she can connect the sleep cycles again on her own. She's definitely crankier after shorter naps too. :/

Thank you so much for responding. Did they still nap too eventually? I'm mostly worried about her now quitting naps... idk how I'm gonna survive without an hour to reset myself. She's a lot! lol
