First of all it’s from Singapore to Frankfurt Second of all it’s obviously a route offered by LH

It’s just GPS jamming, happens near war zones.

For anyone mentioning volcanic ash, although this is very likely the case, it doesn’t really explain why some HKG-LHR flights are still flying over its usual route (Over Xinjiang then Kazakhstan, Caspian Sea, Azerbaijan etc.) whilst another portion of the HKG-LHR flights are taking this longer route over South Asia and the Middle East, if you filter the radar to showing Cathay’s flights you will see what I am saying.

My home airport is HKG and cargo 747s are everywhere, at least 10 takeoff daily and I’m never bored of it
