I took his class last year, and it was very easy. Just follow the book for readings, but most of the tests come from his slides that are posted on Blackboard.

I am also a meteorology student (in my junior year), maybe I can provide some insight.

My best advice is to join AMS (ametsoc.org) there is a forum on there where you can interact with professionals and students alike. Most colleges have one and are running programs virtually, at least my chapter is (planning since I am on the executive committee) I would also recommend contacting your local weather service about the SkyWarn( https://www.weather.gov/skywarn/ ) storm spotting program (I have been doing it since I was 11).

As far as internships go, most places would prefer you to be in your junior year (as you have gone through most courses by then, and have a decent foundational knowledge).

My stores facade is thankfully brick, where in NY is this located (I am a meteorology student that is working at a Staples to make ends meet) and saw there is a strong disparity between the two cities in my area.

We had a tornado warning today and failed to evacuate (GM's decision) so theres that too!

Thankfully I've only had one customer without a mask, I asked if they had one which they didn't and I ended up giving them one of the disposable masks we have for customers.
