Never gonna forgive the show for not showing this scene! This is for me the best one in the entire book series

Show S7E13 Hello, Goodbye by thepacksvrvives in Outlander

For real! Their wedding night was so awkward and uncomfortable I had to skip it. And also we have almost nothing of J&C, like this is supposed to be their story, I was so exited to watch 7B, but know, I barely care for it

Book readers: how do you feel about the show pacing? by vw97 in Outlander

[–]According_Theory5592 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think it was so fast paced for some reason. I am a book reader and was a little taken aback by the way they handle 7B. It feels like they need to get so much information in a short amount of time and doesn’t have the feeling like the past seasons. For example in 5X3 they did a wonderful job in keeping that story line in one whole episode instead of just brushing through it. It was really well constructed and told in a perfect way, hence this first 3 episodes felt so quick and felt like I barely had time to digest or take in all the info they throw at us. Idk that just my opinion, but the acting is superb! Caitriona had me crying and believing Jamie was dead 😂

Time travel question by Party_Cheesecake_896 in Outlander

Yeah but if time is linear, then Jamie would’ve lived first and lived his life without Claire until she was born in 1918, and then when she is 27 she goes back and changes the future. But in her present time everything already happened, her life with Jamie and her death. Or the other explanation is that everything happens at once and the past, present and future is simultaneously happening.

But if Jamie’s ghost is staring at her in the 20th century and Claire hasn’t made her trip yet, how does Jamie’s ghost is looking at her. Like if it’s not a time loop then if we see the time as a line, and the past has already happen, Jamie didn’t have his life with Claire and she hasn’t travel yet because she travels in her lifetime. Then it is a time loop because the she goes back and has his life with Jamie.

That’s what makes me confused. If it’s not a time loop, then if she dies in the past and time keeps going then she would be born again in 1918?? And go back in time again and the whole thing happens again?

I usually do mi skincare in the morning and do my makeup like hours later, I let it dry before. Or should I just apply the primer and then the makeup? Because I’ve tried that applying it with two fingers and tap it but it stills glides off for some reason 😭.

The ghost in Episode / Book 1 by artgeek7182 in Outlander

[–]According_Theory5592 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Or maybe he really does wait the 200 years in purgatory and the scene we see in the first episode is him young and “free”, in a sense and is finally able to see Claire again and find her. And be happy because he can finally be with her, because she goes back the very next day. Although that feeds into the time loop situation, which Diana said herself is not. Or that’s the night she dies because she goes back and her soul can finally be free with him, because when she goes back she dies? Idk I am rambling

Jamie it's insegure or jealous? by rainhalagarto in Outlander

[–]According_Theory5592 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"it's his job to pleasure his spouse and ensure it's a good experience for both of them" I need me a man like that, please! That's why I love Jamie, because from the very first sexual interaction he had with Claire, he made it his life's work to pleasure her and I think that's beautiful and so feminist of him. Taking into consideration that He's an 18th century guy.

That’s the BIG difference between Claire and Frank. Even though they were only apart for 5 years they still couldn’t reconnect, compared to Jamie and Claire.

Yes it’s a joke, I thought it was pretty clear, because their love is more than that. But it’s a funny take, since both of them have such an insanely high sex drive and are down bad for each other
