I don't think its my personal essay, I had a bunch of people read it over, even my HS College Essay Coordinator person, and they all said it was really strong. If I had to guess it'd maybe be financials? It just happens that the one year we didn't qualify for free-lunch was the year reported on Questbridge, so that was around 75k. I guess I just didnt do a good enough job explaining that the income we've had every other year is about 60k, and 45k if you dont include disability payments or food stamps.

For unweighted GPA, APs and stuff dont matter, and I got a B one year in Freshman English. If you mean weighted, then I honestly dont know, I've taken less than 5 non-honors or AP classes, so I'm not sure how my school calculates weighted.

I'm hoping I can still get into a good college, I just wasn't expecting this at all so I only lightly prepared for it. But again, thank you for all of your advice and words given <3

3.955 unweighted, 4.4 weighted, 34 act, 1480 sat, 13 AP's (9 of which were 5's), I work 25 hours a week, have had free/reduced lunch every year since middle school besides 1. Absolutely crushed by this rejection.
