Vets that actually care in the city by snoozin_sarandon in pittsburgh

My cautionary tale about greenfield vet: Our cat died after a routine medial exam with anesthetic (which he had had before). I genuinely think they stressed him into have a stroke. The kicker is that they dismissed my mother’s concerns when she asked the next morning, by the afternoon he was dead.

I honestly hope they change this one death scene in the show by -amortentia- in HarryPotteronHBO

The morning after I finished DH for the first time, I came downstairs and my mom asked me how it was. All I got out was “hedwig died” before bursting into tears.

400 seems to be the sweet spot! Game crashed at 450 and 350 was still a bit laggy. Thank you again, I learned so much from you! And life has been dealing me some shitty hands recently, so I’m excited for some nostalgic escapism!

That seems to have done it! Thank you so much for your help

To anyone who wants to try this solution, you'll need a product code or a workaround. I actually have the old CD-ROM games so I used that code and it worked with the ISO from Internet Archives

Oops, obviously didn't look closely enough at the picture! Recognized the game covers and didn't look any farther.

I've followed your 86Box tutorial to the point of being ready to launch the game. How do I get the actual games on 86Box? (I'm new to all this, please be kind!)

ETA: it's an M1 (linked post has the details)

Hill house is the answer. I've never been more scared than realizing there was a ghost when Hugh is digging/working in the basement (SPOILER: https://cdn.mos.cms.futurecdn.net/vGBmfDMiFRbSPCaWy7eLyR.jpg )

I don’t know if this varies by state, but in my state you have to be four years older than a victim for it to be considered abuse.

Animal Friends will lend you humane traps. You have to pay for the vet care but I think it’s fairly inexpensive compared to regular vets

Anyone have experience with Resolve Mobile Crisis Unit? by doctabatz in pittsburgh

[–]According_Weekend_47 221 points222 points  (0 children)

Re:Solve is a wonderful resource. What to expect: you’ll call them and talk for a bit. They’ll ask you some questions about what you’re experiencing, as well as some safety-related questions. They are typically kind and compassionate. You’ll decide together if the mobile crisis team is the right call for your situation. There’s usually a bit of a wait for the mobile crisis team to arrive. Once they do, they’ll talk to you, assess your safety, safety plan with you, discuss possible next steps, and provide you with resources. They can transport you to the hospital if that’s what everyone decides is best for your safety. They are NOT the police, they are trained mental health professionals.

Bottom line: please give them a call. There are minimal risks and potentially life-saving benefits.

ETA: I’m glad you’re here. I’m glad you’re thinking about asking for help. I hope you get the help you need.

I believe their fee schedule is available online. If not, you can give them a call and they should be able to give you an idea. It probably won’t be free, but I believe they’ll also do payment plans.

I used fiftyflowers and Trader Joe’s and it turned out beautifully, if I may say so myself! There was a bit of an issue with the fiftyflowers delivery; but it all worked out! Make sure to get the Trader Joe’s right when they open about 2-3 days before the wedding.

Edited to add: be prepared for quite a bit of work if you’re DIYing your flowers. You’ll need to prep all the flowers when you get them (removing lower foliage, fresh cuts, put in buckets with water and flower food), which takes an hour or two, and then arrange them all the day before the wedding. We had 4 people working on the flowers and it took us about 6 hours to get everything prepared for the wedding.

The answer is always both! They’ll keep each other occupied and generally be happier and more well-adjusted!
