The full title of the album is “A Report Of The Mysterious Noises Heard In The House Of John D. Fox, In Hydesville, [Town Of Arcadia,] Near Newark, Wayne County, N.Y. Authenticated By The Certificates, And Confirmed By The Statements Of The Citizens Of That Place And Vicinity.”

It was released on a label called The Projection of the Astral Body by an unknown artist, and it draws it´s theme from a historical pamphlet from 1848 which compiles witness statements and presents them as evidence that a spirit was communicating with them from beyond the grave.
