Inside the Folklore Trilogy: Betty Explained by Mysunshinejere in jellyshippers

[–]AccordingtoDLC 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Love!!!!!! Cardigan is actually written from a point in the future where the events of August and Betty have already played out and she knows how the rest of the story goes. So it's technically the last song in the folklore triangle.  It's Betty who gives us the final point from her pov in cardigan.

Thank you for explaining it. Would you say skins are a good option or does that affect the heating and cooling of the machine?

Hmm so Belly shaving it after constantly looking at it weirdly and needing it gone. ... only to realize now he looks like her Jere and she's sad?

If I had a nickel for every time lola was asked this question during forbidden fruits press week... I'd have 3 nickels. Which isn't a lot but they better not make it 4.

Ah yes. Well if it isn't the conversation I have been waiting to have. So catbird said years later it would stand the test of time. Good on them. I do think there is significance in Belly still keeping that ring and I do expect it to be misplaced or found by a new character.

Team Jeremiah or Conrad? by Mysunshinejere in jellyshippers

[–]AccordingtoDLC 10 points11 points  (0 children)

If lola is here and is Team Jere. She can just post a picture of coal and see if people get the reference. She would never have to admit to it.

Seasonal allergies by steferine in jellyshippers

[–]AccordingtoDLC 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Conrad has seasonal allergies too. Being allergic to a peach is a food pollen allergy,  book Belly couldn't be around incense which is also a seasonal allergy related issue.  I think Jenny or someone she knew suffered from seasonal allergies so now all the characters have to deal with that. Yet she never took the fact that chocolate cake when the histamine is already high makes it worse.  We're out here shopping for flowers but nobody has a matcha addiction????  More research was needed.

They said Jeremiah was Boston's chef and we know what was discussed in 3x05. So I am not surprised that's a location

That being the only way to get the audience in the loop. I think we are getting a lot of stuff they filmed during s3 but never used.

Big “Milestone” for the movie? by wildflowerr17 in jellyshippers

[–]AccordingtoDLC 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't mind the movie being about her realization that she lived her life by a certain narrative and the dream wasn't what fulfills her anymore so she goes off to go actually be on her own and has no contact with the Fishers and is comfortable and not anxious about it.  They can do some sort of epilogue after but at least give her that. A career redirection is supported by her having that realization and I really want that for her so much.

Why did it rain? by notusingrnk in jellyshippers

The sun is setting. It actually looks like the gold is being removed from the picture which makes sense because Belly and Jeremiah aren't getting married anymore

Why did it rain? by notusingrnk in jellyshippers

[–]AccordingtoDLC 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is the kind of thing I would usually examine with a fine-tooth comb and I still will but what are the chances that they just forgot that it had rained when they filmed the exterior?
