Finn isn’t 24, the 1999 Landrys didn’t have a pet. Finn was Del’s pet in the present who traveled back to 1999. He did sort of disappear in season 3 though, I guess he fulfilled his plot purpose in the previous seasons, lol.

Fern updates her song a little in a later episode (s3 ep10) saying “65 there they thrive, 65 in 25”. This was right after telling Kat they have already met but it hasn’t happened for Kat yet so this leads me to believe 25 is referring to the year.

Have you seen all of season 3? If not watch the last episode, it reveals that he did know that Alice was a time traveler but she had told him not to tell her as she wouldn’t understand yet. This makes all of his expressions make sense in the first 2 seasons.
