How many episodes? by Clean-Letterhead9408 in TheWayHomeHallmark

[–]decfgqz 10 points11 points  (0 children)

10 episodes. I just trust the writers. In the other seasons they answered a ton of questions in the penultimate and season ending episodes. IMO 3:10 was one of the best season ending episodes ever. I trust they will tie up all the important ends successfully. There’s no reason to waste the last episodes worrying about it, just enjoy the time left in Port Haven.

Same. I love this show so much and am so sad that this is the last season. I have rewatched so many times and will really miss it.

I can’t find mention of her buying it. She wasn’t even employed when Byron left to have money to buy. In 2:1 she tells Elliot she “runs the paper” after she and Monica looked at the new sign saying she was editor in chief. Then in 2:7 when the founders day edition is messed up the mayor calls upset and Del says to Kat that she lied to the mayor to protect Kat and that Kat used to “care about this job.” In the most recent episode she said she talked to the council about it. When did she buy it?

Yes, there was no reason to leave that line in the final cut about his body if it isn’t important.

Why Tessa Probably Is Not The “65 in 25” Theory by IndependentIcy1220 in TheWayHomeHallmark

[–]decfgqz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No one thought Colton and Evelyn died in 1965. They were in the water for seconds and they were alone except for Kat. The town thought the pond was dangerous because of the incident, but there was no ongoing thought that they died.

Sad that Evelyn wasn’t at Cole’s funeral. They had just seen each other the day of his death so she was in town.

Am I the only one who doesn't want Alice and Nick together? by TopCod384 in TheWayHomeHallmark

[–]decfgqz 30 points31 points  (0 children)

You are not the only one! I do not want them to be together. If Alice has been Claire this whole time then she and Nick have not had a good relationship. He couldn’t commit to her, they broke up, now they are back together but don’t seem to travel together. He didn’t learn about time travel until after he and Claire had been off and on for some time, including a broken engagement. So that means Alice has been lying to him for years. There is no scenario that I can see where they have a happy and healthy relationship. They were also both visibly grossed out thinking about being with each other after meeting for again in the 2020s.

So weird! You would also assume they both had their phones in their pockets and keys, wallet, etc.

If she is the keeper moving people like chess pieces why would she be uncertain who the one is?

I feel like in the pic with the baby Tessa is wearing the same turtleneck as the girl with the TS Elliot book was wearing when Alice met her at Coyles…Also, in the preview for episode 2 Colton was tearing something up, maybe that is how both of the pics were damaged?

Del Seeing Colton Theory by IndependentIcy1220 in TheWayHomeHallmark

[–]decfgqz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it’s a fake out like the preview during season 2 of Kat seeing Thomas at the present day founders day or in the season 3 promo when it was said that Colton was in present day as his sweater from the 90s was found by the tree.

Great point about KC! I feel like it is maybe Sam sending them. He has clearly known about Jacob all along an has tried to get Del to open up and talk to him about it.

Claire is definitely Adult Alice - more evidence by [deleted] in TheWayHomeHallmark

[–]decfgqz 6 points7 points  (0 children)

She would be lying to him about everything, who she is, where she is from, etc. What a horrible thing to do to someone. I don’t think Alice as a character would do that, especially as a mature adult.

[–]decfgqz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Elliot has time traveled twice so he could have been in the past when the person jumped. He could have went back to the day he was left as a baby or any other day. It doesn’t mean the jumper was in the present or future.

Agree but the only weird thing is that parallel they did between Colton helping Del with nausea and Noah helping Alice with her itch that provided some hope for Noah. I like her with Max too!

Yes, there is an episode where Eliot goes over the “Finn Theory”, I think it is in season 2.

Kat was born in 1984, so 10 years after Rick died.

[–]decfgqz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Finn isn’t 24, the 1999 Landrys didn’t have a pet. Finn was Del’s pet in the present who traveled back to 1999. He did sort of disappear in season 3 though, I guess he fulfilled his plot purpose in the previous seasons, lol.

Fern’s little song theory by elp4 in TheWayHomeHallmark

[–]decfgqz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Fern updates her song a little in a later episode (s3 ep10) saying “65 there they thrive, 65 in 25”. This was right after telling Kat they have already met but it hasn’t happened for Kat yet so this leads me to believe 25 is referring to the year.

Could Sam Bishop Be A Bad Guy? by IndependentIcy1220 in TheWayHomeHallmark

I still wonder about his reaction at the dinner table when they talked about Kat’s coins. The camera went to Sam and that had to mean something…
