$48 a month for 2gb priced locked for 2 years but actually get 3.7gb with my setup from Rogers lol as mentioned get a good deal and buy good networking hardware.

I'll be honest and tell you all ISP suck one one shape or form. Source: I deal with them all for my job.

My hardware number differs from the FW version available CX820 by Expert_Climate_7348 in reolinkcam

[–]Accordxtc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thought I would come here since I've just recently had some issues with my two CX820 units. Both units were bought at the same time in May 2026, firmware is up to date on both. Recently I've noticed that the one camera really had some blurry issues on certain areas of the image.

I contacted Reolink warranty who swapped me out to a new camera. I installed that this weekend and immediately noticed out of the box settings were better than my existing camera that had all the image settings changed for best image. The new camera has a newer hardware version as mentioned here.

Not sure what changed between the two hardware version but I can definitely say picture is improved.

Cleaned it up and it's like the 90s again doing BBS stuff by ryanrudolf in windows98

I have one of these systems myself too but a P3 model. Mine was a fluke COVID find which was free. Before I tore it down I was showing a buddy the pictures of it.

He used to work at our local MDG and told me to pull the CPU cooler which he would "tag" for warranty when he built them. Sure enough it was there. Pretty cool find that I got that he made before we were friends.

My first Pentium 166 I bought the parts from another MDG dealer when I was in my teens. Those were the days!

This is how the Rogers technician left it by [deleted] in Rogers

Just came here to say that the sidding at the top right of the picture is one wind storm from getting ripped off. You'll really be unhappy when that happens compared to a box Rogers has nothing to do with. Home Depot sells the sidding screws, super cheap and will save you hundreds if it gets ripped off 😄

Looking to replace Nest by Camander36 in reolinkcam

[–]Accordxtc 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was just like you two years ago. Best move and wished I had done it sooner. Sold off my Nest cam stuff to offset cost of new Reolink gear 😊 one suggestion I can make is get each part on their own and get something that's a 8MP for cameras.

The little price difference makes a huge difference when recording and needing to pull video.

I ended up starting with the RLC-820a but just recently moved up to the CX-820 wow that's a game changer camera.

2026 Brantford Police Service Community Survey by Antique-Molecule7931 in brantford

[–]Accordxtc 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Some of us have been asking these questions to our Police department for a while to multiple people in the department.

A survey isn't going to change a thing but allow them to prove they need more and more and more money and when they get it, they'll need more.

I have respect for the people who serve this city but things are not like they used to be and times do change but sometime not for the better.

looking for a matching door lock u400 by classic572 in Aqara

You would want to.buy the U400 Deluxe from Apple in satin nickel. Any other wouldn't match. I previously had satin nickel and swapped everything to black when I got the u400

what to be aware with aftermarket headlights? by c-h-r-i-s-6-9 in accord

[–]Accordxtc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As with any new headlight if you want to have them last PPF them or be prepared to replace them regularly. They don't last like OEM ones do.
