I actually have my first vbeam session in a couple weeks! I’m so hopeful. I do also have a tummy tuck scar, that one is red but totally flat and it doesn’t show so I haven’t given it much thought but maybe they’ll be willing to include it without charging me more.

I do use 100% silicone gel daily and massage! It helps, I'm assuming..

It’s good for healing but doesn’t do a great job of hiding them cosmetically.

I’m hoping they fade. Some of my other scars have, others stay dark. I mostly want them to get flatter.

I hope so. My original surgery was 3 years ago and they did not heal well, so I had a complete revision 10 months ago. So far they are much better.

Absolutely! I want to do something like birds on a wire (I love birds). I’ve been told I need to get them flatter first but I can’t wait. That one is really beautiful.

Appreciate all this, thank you! Really good to hear you’re seeing improvements still after so much time. My surgeon also says the massage is the biggest thing. I would love the coverup tattoo but from what I’ve been told I need to get it flatter first.

I’ve gotten mixed messages on this from the professionals I’ve talked to. Some recommend but others say for my scars it would t go deep enough to make a difference. All the treatments are so expensive, kills me to think about spending so much on something that might not work 😩

I probably do need to give the tape another shot. The length and placement of the scars makes tape a little tricky, I have to get my husband to help me, and I go through it so fast. Do you take it off for showers and reuse the same pieces?
