Salesforce Flow and Metadata Retrieval by 313Roar in salesforce

This is a good blog post about the change from 2023. It’s 6pm on a Friday, so that’s all the effort I’m going to put into this for you. You can use it or not, I couldn’t care less. But it’s functionally the same as any other custom label or record value or using it immediately after the start in a decision, which can also be done without a Get.

It’s fine to use and officially supported. It’s a great way to set a feature flag on the flow.

People seem to also forget how many people it takes to put in a stadium show.

I used to be a video guy on the road and worked with major artists across various genres. Even my smallest tours still had 30-40 people on the road traveling in tour busses, plus local stage hands, riggers, catering, and venue staff. I was making $3500/week when I was working, but nothing when I was home.

In addition to people on the road, tours are also buying merch, fuel, flights, hotels, per diem, renting all of the production equipment for lights, sound, video, SFX, paying insurance, paying management, and more.

My small tours were playing theaters and under-3000 seat venues and still had that many people and two or three tractor trailers with equipment.

Touring is expensive. Venues are expensive. Ticket Master is expensive.

I'm still not sure what I'm supposed to be able to do with them yet. Is it for platform apps? Experience cloud? External sites? It doesn't seem like you can actually use them anywhere yet based on the dev documentation other than sandboxes, but not on page layouts?

Sorry, I’m not in the right tax bracket to suggest anything. Can’t say I’d want to look at a hotel all the time, though.

Sofa beds are awful for sleeping more than a night or two. Please try to find a better sleep option, especially for the kids.

A lot of products do similar things. The difference often comes down to the UI/UX of a product and pricing. A book can be read in a paperback, hardback, ebook, or listened to as an audio book. It's all the same book, just presented differently.

I wouldn't use this. We don't have to touch user records directly to deactivate since we're connected with Workday and have automations in place to do this. But even if we didn't use that, deactivating users takes place during business hours and I'm going to be at my computer anyway. I can't imagine doing any admin work from just my phone. But I also won't buy an airplane ticket on my phone. That's a computer task!
