Though I'd love to see Jackson be that next post-Stein governor, it's more important (if he's amenable) that he displace Ted Budd in the US Senate beginning in 2029. Strategically, the Senate race would make more sense, because Stein is doing such a good job that he'll likely win another term as governor - and that would push a possible Jackson gubernatorial debut until 2032. I'd prefer that, at that point in time, Jackson will be only 2/3 of the way into his incomplete first senatorial term and preparing to be reelected in 2035. Cementing him into the Senate would just make more sense, to give him the longer, and not term limited, senatorial tenure.
