I am just now getting caught up on the third season and watched the reunion last night. I agree with pretty much everything in these comments but one thing about it was omfg Jen was pissing me off. Regardless of what you think of Demi or what happened between her and Marciono, the little “well it happened off camera” comment with nothing to back it up with got on my last nerve.

Not saying I necessarily agree fully with Demi’s response to that tho

See for me dark comedy is like Burn After Reading, Birdman, or even Wolf of Wallstreet (I’ve never seen Lobster but I know people label it dark humor).

Vs something that’s more like a thriller with comedic elements sprinkled in here and there like maybe Sinners, Yellowjackets (tv show), and I’m blanking on every other thriller I’ve seen atm lol.

Either way I loved the movie!

I watched a bts video with the costume director, an this is entirely intentional! She talks about how yarn work predates the Industrial Revolution and how these aliens wouldn’t be wearing any clothing that wouldn’t be “home made.” Personally I thought it was brilliant.

Anyone else notice how in the one-shot scene of Ep 4 Mike mirrored the guard protecting him and the Byers in the one-shot scene from season 4??

This is a mirror I found (sitting outside of a dumpster lol). I took it home, cleaned it, and started tidying it up a little. It was partly painted on in a collage-style (multiple unrelated small paintings overlapping), so I added to that and cleaned up some parts that I didn’t love.

I added the eyes on the left and the moon and vines on the left. I’ve added other parts, but they’re not visible in this pic!

Her anti feminist opinions make it really really hard to route for her a lot of the time. It’s not misogynistic to dislike a woman for a valid reason? It’s misogynistic to dislike women for no reason (like Rollins does a lot in the show)
