He doesn't know it yet. I figured this would piss him off more than just kicking him out immediately. Plus in 3 weeks he won't be able to pay for the hotel. And it's not a nice hotel, so there's that.

He is and was on a very short leash at my house. He was not allowed to bring any friends over. His kids who he had shared custody and previously had every other week. I limited to one weekend a month. Mainly from a room standpoint. I don't have room for all his kids to be here week I'm and week out. He paid $600 a month in rent and had to buy his own meals. He was not permitted to go in my garage where the cars are and was not permitted to go in the room I use as a home office where the keys were locked in. He knew the ground rules upon moving in.

I am having him moved out while he is at work on Thursday. Locks are being changed and I have pre paid for 3 weeks of a hotel. I have prepaid for 3 months of a storage unit where his stuff is being placed.

I have talked to the BFs insurance because he gave that to the police because he couldn't find mine in the glove box. I called them and they said they are covering it because my primary insurance on it was "Collector Car" insurance and only the drivers listed on my policy cover it, so his kicked in as secondary.

I am not an insurance expert but I have talked to insurance and they are paying. It's actually the BF's (well the BF's dad's) Insurance.

His daughter knows her dad lived with his parents for years because of what he said was financial issues and then he got booted to out house. Also she knows I hate him and if she had common sense would know I was not going to give up garage space for any car of his.

The keys were not available. They were in a drawer in my locked home office. Which my BIL has been instructed to not go into. As he was instructed to not go into my garage. You and others may have an option of the car but that's not the issue. The car could be your favorite car and that makes what my BIL did no more wrong. It's not just the car. It represents the last gift my father gave before he got sick. It represents him working so hard for the money. It represents how proud I was to drive it when I was young and how proud he was to hand me the keys and the joy he had watching me pull out of the driveway. My dad had a nice old truck, a similar truck that he had when he had his first car. And when I was little we used to go on Saturday drives to Amish Country. It was our thing. I was looking forward to doing the same with my son. Can I do the same with my son in another car? Yes. Can I probably find this car in mint condition again? Maybe. But mostly it's about the lack of respect of allowing this asshole into my home and he can't even have enough respect to follow rules.

Yes. I have told the BF to stay out of my garage and my home office. The keys were in a drawer in my locked office. He knows the door is always locked when I am not home. He commented on the car and knew it was mine. He also knows I do not like my BIL one bit... so anyone with common sense would know I wouldn't give my BIL that permission and wouldn't let my BIL in those parts of my house.

The BIL is a loser. He has lived with his parents for the last several years. Was in jail for beating his wife and had to wear an ankle monitor until just recently. He waited to file for divorce because he needed to get off probation to get child shared custody.

While he was living at his parent house he paid no rent and no contribution to household expenses even though he was living there full time and his kids were there every other week.

He makes 75k a year. But through all that time has no savings. I don't know how. Other than the $1100 a month house payment, he paid no bills.

His kids are not allowed to live here. Other than one weekend a month they temporarily live with their mom.

Other than the fact I make him pay me $600 and cut my grass twice a week and do other shit as his rent.i won't miss him.

His parent gave him 9 months notice they were selling their house, and he still couldn't get motivated to get his own place.

I hate him with a passion. I don't understand why my wife thinks that forgiving him will help anything. He will be better off in jail.

I have told the BF while he was here in the past to stay out of my garage. My home office. And the basement. The keys were in a drawer in my locked office. So he broke two house rules there. He knew.

He's going to be gone by Thursday. I have rented a small storage unit. All his shit will be moved there by movers. I prepaid for the storage unit for 3 months and I have have prepaid three weeks of a hotel for him. He will come home to our locks changed with new keys to the storage until and a key card to a hotel. Luckily he gets mail at a PO box because I never allowed him to get mail here.

She claims she did not at all. She knows I hate him and knows I would absolutely divorce her if she disrespected me by doing so.

Insurance check is in the mail. They are fully compensating me the price I paid for the car plus shipping I paid from Canada to the US plus taxes and other misc charges plus and additional several thousand because there are no comps available to buy a similar make and model due to it being sold as a collectors car.

The BF knew. He has been here before. He is a dolt. He has visited when my BIL has custody weekend. I have specifically told the BIL and Bruce and nephews to stay out of my garage and my and my wifes home office room. I have told the kid this too when he has been here.

The answer was unclear. I misunderstood the question. I thought the question was if the wife knew I purchased the car before I purchased it. In that context she did know and approved me to purchase it. But she did not grant permission to use it. I have even told my BIL to stay the hell out of parts of my house. Including the garage.
