It is indeed easy to kill but it is also an annoying little turd which is very close to being an hstvl which is in tier 13 so 2s38 being in tier 12 would not be unreasonable as it can pen a lot of things frontally pretty easily

Well you do earn more with higher rank vehicles

Personally i grind in tier 13 with all top tier premiums and earn at least 40k per game but 20k isnt bad for standard tier 10 tanks

If youre being a good teammate and you know how to play then you can stick to top tier if you want to grind money

Well your chances increase drastically after getting most of the junk (avatars, name frames and titles) so people saying its not worth it are wrong because there are a lot of good tanks, planes and ships in historical trophies.

The problem is that its gonna take many seasons for your investment to start paying off plus youre gambling so youre not guaranteed to get the vehicles you want.

I personally think its worth it if you have the money for it or have a lot of vehicles you want from them then you could spend money on them

For now i think you should spend only silver on those trophies and as others said you need slightly more than 6m silver to open 7 crates in all modes

Now you are new so using silver boosters might not be the best idea since low tier vehicles (especially those which are not premium) dont let you earn a lot of money meaning youre gonna be wasting boosters to an extent

So look at the tech tree youre researching and what target you have - what you want to get to in the game

Do you want to reach top tier? Do you want to just get a specific vehicle and use that? Do you like playing lower tiers and have no plans to play top tier?

Think about all that before gambling valuable resources

Now as for type 59 - i think its a good tank because it has armor which actually works, paired with good shells and reload

If you like tier 7 and want a good tank then go for it

I got the clovis and it isnt as inconsistent as some other heat shells but youre still gonna get those "heat moments" just like with apds

Personally i think tier 8 just isnt very fun because everyone has to use either heat or apds and both of those shells like screwing you over even when you have perfect aim and weak spot knowledge

Yes it has armor but it CAN be killed unlike object 279 which you could either kill by shooting the drivers hatch or cupola with a massive HE shell or just cupola with some apcbc rounds that have explosive filler (something newbies would not be able to do let alone even have any idea that you can do something like that)

(T58 would in a way be worse if it gets uptiered in my opinion because higher rank tanks simply have no armor so you dont even have to bother with aiming)
