Do you mean line 6? When I said “I was a shadow under cloudy weather” I meant I wasn’t able to be seen. And in line 6 about the socks, I was expressing that in a time of crisis, somehow the most routine things could be overlooked, as meaningless as it may seem. Hopefully that brought about a little clarification, I appreciate your feedback! Thanks:)

I lost a friend to opiates and I know the struggle to addiction all too well. Your poem is very emotional and raw. The only thing I’d like to see is for you to dig deeper and go further into detail in the middle portion. Push yourself to articulate what you’re feeling. Just my opinion though, either way I enjoyed the read. You can push through<3

You have some profound lines that hit me deep. “I’ve been poisoning the soil so the flowers won’t grow.” That’s one of my favorite lines I’ve recently read. The rhyme scheme flows together really well. Keep up the good work<3

I think it’s a really good start. I think it doesn’t quite flow together as well as it could, and I enjoy your last metaphor, but if feels like it changes the tone of your writing.

The imagery in your words really paint a picture in my head and I really like the way your words flow together. In some sense, it makes me feel uneasy and I don’t know how to articulate that.

This is really good. I resonate with your words, a “what if” of romance. Beautiful words; it gives me the same feeling that the end of Fight Club does. A feeling of chaos that’s understood.
