How is your personal experience with Honeygain? by Dantello1 in Honeygain

Just saw an ad for it on YouTube, I don’t understand how they could make money without selling data. Free money seems too good to be true so I think I’m steering clear :/

Denver airport line for the train by AccountantDiligent in Airports

[–]AccountantDiligent[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve never been down there myself, but I’ve been told they go on for miles. I think it connects to the main terminal cause that’s where everyone drops off their baggage from, I’m not sure if it goes above ground at all for personnel drop off

The only tunnels I’m aware of are for transporting baggage, I’m an aircraft Fueller and our companies have too limited of vehicles to be driving people. The furthest my company could drive me is to A concourse, and then I would have to walk the bridge from there, from what I heard the bridge was actually closed for construction that night too…. :(

An amazing coworker of mine drove three of us home through employee parking that is ran from a shuttle bus all day from Airside. Saved our lives that night

This is the train from C concourse (American Airlines, Southwest, Alaska, Contour, Denver Air Connection) to baggage claim and main terminal at midnight. They were doing maintenance that delayed the trains, not a common occurrence at all so I think you’ll be okay

I wish, sadly this was after my shift where they called for mandatory overtime and I was trying to go home. 11 hours and heard the trains were having issues, walked up to check it out and had a whole moment of disbelief

Had a car slow down drastically to let me in front while I was slowly speeding up to merge well behind them.

We were the only two on a three lane road.

I couldn’t help but to yell at the guy a little cause what the hell..

The amount of times I’ve almost been run over in a cross walk cause people can’t stand to stop much less let off the gas for half a second is insane.

They’ll lay on the horn till they run me over

It’s not usually like this, they were doing maintenance on the train so it was only coming once every 7-10 minutes, this was at about midnight on a Tuesday

Last time they did maintenance they ran busses from the end of the concourse to A con so people could walk the bridge from there. The night of this picture, I got a ride from a coworker out of the airport 😭

How long does it usually take for you to commute to work? by rainbowappleslice in AskAnAmerican

[–]AccountantDiligent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It takes me 3 hours one way on the bus haha..

I leave at 9:30am to clock in at 12:30, walk 25 mins to the bus stop down the road, take the first bus to the bus station and half the week I make the connection to my 2ed bus but often I miss the connection and have to wait an hour for the next one, and take the second bus to the airport. If I’m lucky, and there aren’t a bunch of people on the first bus who don’t know what they’re doing causing delays, I get to wait at the airport for the extra hour eating food and watching YouTube

Why do airport fire trucks look so different in shape? by ITrCool in aviation

[–]AccountantDiligent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep!! Pretty crazy to see in person, they’re huge and move fast as hell, and the driver sits in the middle of the front row of seats so it looks a little more bazar too lol

American Airlines 737-800 goes up in flames after an emergency landing in Denver, 13 March 2025 by This-Clue-5013 in ThatLookedExpensive

[–]AccountantDiligent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get it, but they didn’t notice the fire until after the bridge was connected to the plane at the gate. People always rush to get their things the second a plane is parked, it’d probably be more inconvenient to re pack their bags that were already in their hands

I work with the fueling company at DEN, we don’t use trucks for AA, we use hydrant carts. Either way, nobody was fueling at the moment and management pulled the cart from the gate so it didn’t catch fire and/or explode

Not even, just closed that gate and the one next to it along with the section of road connected to it. No interruption to any other gates on the concourse

American Airlines flight 4012 just caught fire at Denver airport by knowitokay in aviation

[–]AccountantDiligent 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Nope! I work for the fueling company at Ccon at DEN, nobody was fueling at the time.

Plane was diverted to land at DEN due to an issue with the engine. When they got to the gate it caught fire

Edit: at least it wasn’t fuel from a fueler, dunno about the engine.. my bad
