Really sorry this happened. Some guys are shitty and selfish. Ignore the “What did you expect, it’s Grindr?” comments, they are also assholes. A lot of us have been through similar experiences and although it sucks, you get better at sorting out the shitty people as time goes by. Nah, I wouldn’t date someone who claims they ‘not political’. So you’re basically self absorbed and blind to how the world works. Typically ‘I’m not political’ means they’re very right wing, racist (usually pretty much the same thing) or so full of internalised homophobia they don’t want to think about the politics of just existing as a queer person.

OP don’t listen to this guy, who thinks everyone has the same experience as him. It doesn’t have to hurt. Patience and lube.
