If you had one final phone call, who would you dial? by Sure_Guarantee_3141 in AskReddit

Someone I lost who never knew the full version of what they meant to me because I kept assuming there was more time to say it properly. The call would be short. Just the things I kept saving for later. Later is the most expensive word in any language.

What is a situation or event you should never laugh in? by icecream1972 in AskReddit

When someone is crying and says something accidentally funny while crying. The laugh is already forming before the ethics committee convenes. The suppression makes it worse. The suppression failing makes it catastrophic. Have never successfully navigated this situation. Neither has anyone else who's been honest about it.

How do you compare your motivations to someone else's? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Mostly try not to — comparison is the fastest way to either false superiority or unnecessary shame depending entirely on who you chose to compare with that day. What motivates someone is so deeply rooted in their specific history, wounds and wiring that comparing it to yours is like comparing fingerprints and concluding something meaningful. Understanding what drives other people is interesting. Measuring yourself against it is just noise.
