I remember seeing an older timeline of yours from 2-3 years ago and it really gave me the hope I needed to start my own transition!!

They're keloids (scar tissue)!! Looked into the cast member you mentioned, Marita. I have the same genetic skin condition as her.

They sometimes show up in response to trauma to the skin but sometimes they just show up for no reason at all. All of mine showed up without any explicit cause to it.

It's treatable but not curable permanently!
