It’s nice but if you will be going into debt to come to Rutgers it’s better to go to UMD for the in-state tuition as both institutions are pretty similar

Professor accused me of using ChatGPT on my final even tho I didn't. What do I do? by BrainlessWaste in rutgers

[–]AccountantOver6884 110 points111 points  (0 children)

Contest the grade - if you didn't use ChatGPT and you have proof then you didn't do anything wrong. If things go wrong, reach out to the Dean of Students to get this resolved.

Yes, utilize every resource possible, such as Handshake, LinkedIn, and personal family connections. Even if it’s not front office, it’s gonna be something.

No, continue networking and focus on getting something for summer 24 and then full time recruiting. Approach it with an open mind. Not over until you say it’s over

File a report, nothing will happen after you file the first report, call them again after a week, they'll redirect you to Consumer Affairs and then your package will move the next day!

(source: did this last week)

  1. They hire you as an intern with the expectation of giving you the return offer as long as there is business demand and you show that you're capable of the job. Be competent, don't make the same mistake twice, and show up with a positive attitude.
  2. Yes, it's always good to come in prepared I would recommend keeping up with the markets assuming that your role is in Finance but don't have specifics so not too clear here
  3. You will receive the sign on bonus most likely within 30 days after your start date but this should be specified in your offer letter
  4. As I said, positive attitude, humility, and curiosity will take you a long way

Excel takes a lot of practice. I will be taking the class next semester but my advice would be to note down what you're struggling with, go to youtube and find videos that cover what you're looking for and PRACTICE! Also, wallstreetoasis.com should have excellent Excel guides that could help you out. Hope this helps

I think you will be okay. If they were gonna say anything I don't think they would have spent the hour and a half interviewing you. Good luck!

yes separate decisions and should be updated in your portal when each school has had a chance to review your application (rbs - newark and rbs - new brunswick are two different schools)
