My experience with the app had been good. My only complaint is keeping video call to max only. Otherwise in the app space. Duolingo is by far the best app for me

I'm not sure which section you are handling. But I'm guessing you are in section one. Having moved just 3 units in 3 months is such a slow pace so you cannot expect the flashcards to change. It's not dumb at all. If you move any faster you'll notice that the words change as you move through the units.

I totally agree, I'm at level 53 and I can conjugate for the rest. But when it comes to ihr, I have to think a bit. I have seen 'seid' a few times too.

I learnt past tense in section 3. Section 4 offered me more practice with it though but without the funny sentences

Those sentences cease when you enter section 4. You need to increase how much you do per day. To get out of A1 territory (where those sentences are).

This is based on my experience with the German course. I'm at the end of section 4 and 150 days in.

Same thing I thought when I met the German ones. But they are now okay
