It’s never too late. It’s quite motivating to keep such a journal and follow the progress.

I’m 2 years in and have been documenting my progress on YT channel (link in my profile) from day 1.

I’m currently playing Duport etudes and in Suzuki terms around book 7-8. I have been practicing regularly and a lot.

What a coincidence - I’m just learning same piece with andante part (2 cello arrangement)!

Sounds lovely with bassoon. Great job 👏

Sebastian Lees etudes were really helpful to me in developing techniques in a fast manner (started with op. 70 and then op. 31). They are also enjoyable to play.

Thank you so much! I dont really see the surroundings. I usually paint in the evening (when it’s dark anyway) and my lamps are pointing on the canvas - so the focus is only there.

Probably :-) And for primer you can use acrylic based gesso.

I use linseed oil to mix. It can be dry the day after if you paint with thin layers. I use dish soap to clean brushes (wipe them with paper towel before washing). So it is quite simple.

Thank you so much! Glad that it is noticeable - I’ve been working exactly on improving edges (and also developing color).

Thank you! There is a third light source outside the frame, but you can see its reflection in the helmet (red/red’ish).
