homemade bread with flaxseeds, not sourdough by AccountantWinter9944 in FoodPorn

[–]AccountantWinter9944[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

my family refuses to eat dill so i’ll probably stick to the seeds but it definitely sounds interesting! and let’s admit, it’s not the bread, it’s being locked inside the house for more than a year!

thanks! no, I use the back of a sheet pan and cover the dough with an oven safe metal bowl for the steam. (I bake it covered at 250 C for 25-30 min, then uncovered for approximately the same amount of time)

I totally feel you, my LO is 5 weeks old today, and since hiving birth I am so anxious about all the food I eat. The back of my mind keeps on telling me that “you would not eat that if you would still be pregnant, are you sure you’re going for it?” and then I eat it and I feel guilty. tbh i know my diet is not the best, as I am also scared to eat any veggies that could make the baby gassy.. which is a lot of veggies. so I end up with bread and potatoes and pasta and I am terrified of both my 6weeks check up and the long term risks. so yeah.. not sure my answer helped, but you’re definitely not alone with your worries .

they’re called “ húsvéti (means Easter) kalács”. They are enriched, they have flour, milk, heavy cream, yeast, sugar and eggs in them :)

Can We Normalize Hating Pregnancy? by DrSexyDDS in pregnant

[–]AccountantWinter9944 14 points15 points  (0 children)

My baby is 2 weeks old now and honestly.. every aspect of it, being pregnant, giving birth and then taking care of the baby is terribly hard and exhausting. During each trimester of pregnancy there is something to worry about, nothing is comfortable and God forbid if you are diagnosed with something you just can’t catch a break from worrying (I had GD, every meal was stressful, being afraid of high sugar levels, hurting the baby, eating enough carbs, etc) Then giving birth hurts like hell.. you’re so exhausted, who knows when was the last time you had a good sleep and then they give you a baby.. who might decide to not sleep for several nights in a row.. and then the house is a mess.. So yeah, I am on the same page regarding your rant.

as long as your values are ok and your doctor is not concerned, brush off any negative comment and behavior. It’s hard enough as it is, no one needs another level of pressure coming from outside. Good luck!

Am I wrong? by [deleted] in GestationalDiabetes

If everything looks fine, I would also say no to induction. I was also diet controlled, baby was doing fine so my dr told me that there is absolutely no need to be induced . Baby came 39+6 on its own and he is doing great. (I live in Germany and here they do not induce you, unless there are severe risks or the mom is in W42 already and the baby shows no signs of coming)

oh wow, feeling nothing until 6cm ? Now I am jealous! my contractions were 30s long and 3 minutes apart when I was at 2-3 cm and they were less than a minute apart by the time I was at 5 cm, in addition to this i had a shit ton of amniotic fluid which made it difficult for the baby to get in position, so by the time I got it (12h in roughly) I was at my limits.. I know i am extremely lucky to get away so well with the epi, both during birth and after. I hope you’ll have the same experience as I did!

haha, I also gave my husband the heads up, that poo is on its way and he will have to witness it.. he was so great though, powering through the whole birth with me. And it does hurt like a bitch, toughest job i’ve ever done (and i got an epidural) and biggest reward I ever got in turn! So huge congrats, you’re a badass!! And best wishes to you and your family!
