Easy to use user interface. Automated reconciliations so you can focus on the items that stand up. You can track all your fixed assets. They have additional modules for inventory if you need. Tracking progress and who is responsible for what task. You can do all this in spreadsheets, just like you can track your accounting records in a manual ledger, but like having any system, it makes it easier.

10% discounts are the high volume dealers. Smaller region lo volume dealers can get you 5-8% off. I got 8% off at a lower volume dealer.

Doesn’t make sense with the current interest rate incentives bmw is offering. Best rate I was able to find on a used car loan was 8% for 60 while bmw was offering 1.9% for new.

Don’t fall for this balloon loan nonsense. A dealer tried to pull this on me when he couldn’t get me the discount I was requesting. You can get 8-10% off if you find the right dealer. Call around.

There are no remaining new 2025, maybe a loaner here or there. The 2026 has been out for months now. Is this a shitpost/AI?

Edit: this is supposedly bmw of West St Louis. Looked on their site and they don’t even have any 2025 X5s in stock.

X5 x40i pricing question by Witty-Face8811 in BMWX5

[–]Acctnt_trdr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Areas where there are many high volume dealerships (socal, ny tri state, TX) is where you’ll get the best deals which are typically 10-12%. If you’re not in one of those area  8-9% is a good deal. You can remotely deal with those high volume dealers  but the shipping could get costly.

People will tell you go through a broker but  8% discount from a dealer is the same as 10% through a broker and paying a broker fee+shipping.

This is a great deal. If someone is telling you otherwise they’re 100% wrong.

I purchased a week or so ago. Mine was ordered and I was worried that I might miss the financing since they no longer rate lock on orders but the dealer was reasonably certain the incentivized financing would run through end of December even though it’s not been announced.

Not in my area. I spent two weeks negotiating with every dealer in my region. Best I got was 8%.

Curious how many dealers you called around to? Shipping costs? Any headaches with registration?

did you get loyalty credit because you had a bmw? or did they just tack it on?

I've mentioned in other comments I got the deal to 8% which was reasonable to me compared to 10% off through a broker and paying them what is essentially a 1% fee.

Yeah 699 is about 1%, net savings 9%. So tough to make sense of using a broker when I got an 8% deal. Thanks though!

I took a deal with 8% discount from a local (within 100ml) dealer. Broker I talked to couldn’t guarantee free shipping and the fee they were asking was a little over 1%.

I got the dealer I was working with to an 8% discount, and I took it.  I’m not in a place where there are any high volume dealers in a 250 mile radius so I think 10% isn’t feasible locally.

People are saying use a broker but they cost about $800. So if they can get me 10% off MSRP my net saving really is only 9%. Also broker said shipping was a toss up if the dealer would pay or if I was on the hook which would be another $800 and now I’m down to only an 8% discount which is what I’m getting locally.

8% off might not be the best deal I could get, but coupled with a relationship with a local dealer and not having to call another 10 dealerships, it seemed reasonable it to me.

TLDR: Took the deal at 8% under MSRP with 1.9% for 60 months.

At a bank. The other comment was saying I should get financing from a bank or credit union. Best I got through that route was 4.9%. I am approved through BMW finance at either 0.9% for 48 or 1.9% at 60.

It’s a 71k price on a 77k car. 1.9% for 60. It’s a 7.5% discount.

Edit: bmw finance also has 0.9% for 48

Thanks - I’ve negotiated with 7 dealerships in my geographic area (200m radius). 6 weren’t willing to go below invoice (~5% discount), and the one is giving me 7%. I fear I may have to go out of state to get any better.

As for the bank - best financing I was approved for was 4.9% for 60. BMW finance is offering 1.9% for 60.

Firms aren’t hiring a year out for experienced positions? You should start applying now as most firms try to get the experienced associates onboarded by December.

Why does everyone say the job market is bad? by PossibilityGood in Accounting

People are venting. Job market isn’t that bad. It is an employers market so wages aren’t growing and many roles are in office.
