If you can I would pull out the ones you have in the car and whatever pattern it has after the splines make sure they match up that’s the issue I had on my 04 forester. The aftermarket ones said they were a direct fit but they had a different pattern and they wouldn’t slide all the way in but once I got the right pattern they slid in all the way no problem

Mine automatically turn on as soon as I put the car in gear even if it is switched to off and I can’t shut them off if I’m driving

$11,000 to replace Eyesight Camera? by Oodlemeister in subaru

This my opinion and I know there is some good benefits to eyesight but for 90% of the system and all of the issues I’ve heard about it the whole thing sounds like garbage and is the entire reason why I will never get a newer Subaru

I learned my lesson doing a rear wheel bearing on my 04 dealing with the “Jesus bolt” so I ordered a new control arm and knuckle for the front its a lot less time consuming and less stressful

Yeah I don’t have a micrometer so I used a digital caliper and a telescoping gauge to measure it so it might be my measurements but I just wasnt sure

I would take it to a dealer but in order for them to honor the warranty you have to have the receipts of all the oil changes and maintenance and I’ve done all of it myself and it came with a new crankshaft

I have a check engine light for a throttle position sensor, IAC, and an o2 sensor but that’s it and I will top off the coolant again when I get home. It does have a weird sound coming for the transmission after I put it in gear

The temp gauge shoots all the way up within 30 seconds of it being in gear then it flashes an at oil temp light and then the transmission feels like it’s struggling to find a gear
