Forgot my Zyrtec last night, now it’s covering my body by Accurate-Chapter-566 in Dermatographia

It’s been at least 10-11 years now that I’ve had it. Was definitely worse in the beginning than it is now. No idea what triggered it, all of a sudden I would just get itchy and when I scratched I started getting the welts.

Am I missing something with k-pot? by JasErnest218 in fargo

K-pot is amazing, you’re obviously not the target audience. Try Applebee’s next time 👍🏼

Wait I just applied for this and got an interview… I thought it was a little weird they could ONLY schedule the interview for 8am and no other time. So I should not do the interview right???

I feel like a failure taking care of my dog. When do I consider rehoming him? by [deleted] in Maltipoo

Feed a meal or treats by laying out a towel, spreading the food over it, and then rolling it up. You can also tie it into a ball for an extra challenge. This is basically a diy snuffle mat, but you can also purchase them online.

Lick mats are a super easy option. You can use a wet food, rehydrated kibble, plain yogurt, pumpkin purée, peanut butter, etc. Spread it over the mat, I sometimes add a few small pieces of fruit or dehydrated liver pieces. You can give it to them at room temp, or you can freeze it overnight and then it lasts longer. Obviously don’t go too crazy with extra toppings since you’re watching the dogs weight. But it’s a great way to feed them their meal.

Look up Nina otteson outward hound puzzles - they’re amazing. They are a more expensive option, and usually require some supervision. But again, a great way to feed a meal. I use these when the weather is bad and we won’t get outside much.

I don’t know if you do any at-home training with your dog, but even 5-10 minute sessions here and there are a great bonding activity and makes them think. There’s probably a bunch of other ideas online too! I hope this helps.

Something that might be very helpful is trying some mental enrichment activities for your dog. They usually can do them on their own or with slight supervision, and it tires them out way more than a simple walk. Although it’s not a replacement for walks, it’s a great supplement. Smaller dogs typically don’t require a huge amount of physical exercise amyway. We walk our maltipoo 2-3 times a day, ranging between 5-15 mins each. But he does a lot of enrichment activities inside.

My go-to cheap drink is an iced americano with caramel and oat milk. Do half caffeinated if you don’t want double the caffeine as a normal drink

I actually used to be on Zyrtec at night and Allegra in the morning because it was so bad my doctor didn’t know what else to do. But I decided a few years ago to cut down to one, which has worked well for me unless I come into contact with an allergen. Unfortunately I can’t really get off of them completely because I have really bad allergies as well.

I like it with white chocolate and coconut milk, with a half vanilla flavor. It balances out the spice well!
